Ferret is the leader of a small “tribe” of feral cats living in the forest a few miles from an SCP Foundation research site. Their tribe comes in contact with an escaped D-class subject from said research site, who is infected with SCP-217. The infection slowly spreads throughout the tribe, but they do not realize it until their healer succumbs to the disease. Ferret is the third cat to be noticeably affected by the virus, as the mechanical pieces begin to take over the entire left side of his body.
