Profile

A scheming and opportunistic dungeon merchant. How on earth does he always manage to get into the deepest parts of the dungeon ahead of the heroes? Well, that's a trade secret...

His father is a powerful tengu lord, a soveriegn of flying monsters, but his mother is just a human. Unfortunately, his father was kept from marrying his mother by his father's many other wives, who disapproved of a human joining the family, so Cro can be considered nothing more than a bastard son. Not only that, but Cro also did not inherit much power from his father's tengu side, he's at most a bit stronger than a regular human, but far weaker than a monster. Despite this, his father loves him as he does his mother, and dotes on his youngest, weakest child quite a bit. It is through his father's love and kindness that Cro was given a magic cloak made out of his father's own flight feathers, to give him the tengu gift of flight he was not born with. He was also given a tengu mask, but is it even magical? It just looks silly to me.

His business model is fair, if a little cunning. He'll often loot the dead bodies of adventurers in dungeons, before they can resurrect and return to collect their loot, and then sell it back at a higher price. What a cruel business practice! But in dungeons, the rule is finders keepers. This is completely allowed. Selling common goods like potions and antidotes at a higher price than in regular stores is also allowed; after all, he faces great danger to enter dungeons and offer such goods and services to adventurers when it's needed the most, right? By Cro's own words, "Dear customer, my prices are very fair! It may seem expensive, but it's not as expensive as the cost of dying and potentially losing all your gains, isn't it?"

It's not that Cro loves money. He just likes anything shiny. Well, it's not his fault, he is part crow after all...
