Charlotte Grenee, mostly known as Charlie, is a social worker in Gotham. People who know her would describe her as uncomplicated and rather frugal. She grew up in poverty, as the adopted child of Pavel, a formerly homeless man who now works as a factory worker for Wayne Steel. They did not have much to begin it and Charlie learned quickly, that money defines everything in this world, especially your social status. Even though their struggle for money was ever present, Pavel tried his best to raise his adopted daughter. Due to her profession as social worker, Charlie usually deals with people who also struggle with poverty, where she finds a great deal of kinship. While feeling a deep empathy for those, who had similar issues as her, she feels uncomfortable when being around people who never struggled with lack of money. Charlie learned how to be frugal, finding much comfort in simple things like a good movie, while having her cat on her lap and hot tea.
