Eileen

Though she never has the face to match, Eileen is a loving and caring person. She is Scarrow's mother and the healer in the town of Wengon.

Appearance

Eileen has pale skin and is slender.  She has dull red-brown hair and eyes to match.  Her face is freckled and wrinkled. 

She usually wears dull work clothes and rarely puts on anything more.

Personality

Though she usually looks grumpy, Eileen is a kind and caring person, able to get along well with people.  She decided to be a healer at a young age and has studied plants and herbs all her life.  Though she has no formal qualifications, and many of her methods may be looked down upon by academics, she has years of experience successfully treating the people in her village.  She is in the process of passing her knowledge down to her son, Scarrow.

Well respected in the village, Eileen acts as one of the Elders, making decisions for the town and ensuring everything is kept running smoothly.  She is very deadpan and usually laid back about most affairs, though she can turn into a ferocious protective mother if she needs to.

As a mother, Eileen sacrificed everything for Scarrow.  While she applied discipline where it was required, she let him have a free and happy childhood.  She believes it is impossible to change people, so she is quite accepting of Scarrow's lifestyle, only wishing he'd take his future a bit more seriously.

Trivia

• She was quite young when she had Scarrow.
• Though she lives in a relatively poor town, Eileen worked hard enough to secure the biggest house and saves enough to keep herself and Scarrow afloat.
• She can't live without coffee – Scarrow often brings her one in the morning as a sure way to cheer her up.
• She has a small collection of old medical textbooks that Scarrow has given her.
