contrary to their appearance they're actually a lava nymph person ;3c

✧ they wanted to be a plant nymph but was unfortunately gifted w/ lava powers and had the whole red hair scheme n shit !!

✧ so they dyed their hair and tried to be that Generic Aesthetic Gentle Nature-Loving Babe

✧ but sometimes their anger gets the better of them and they totally explode and their hair goes up in flames and their hands become caked w/ lava

✧ after they calm down it takes forever to fix everything lmaoo

✧ pip, taking a nap + calming down after an outburst.
✧ the rest of the lava leave their body (mostly thru hair ig?) and the lava hands detach from their skin (but they still have to scrub it off)
✧ additionally, while they're sleeping and Restful, some small sprouts start to grow on them (bc u know, lava soil is Very Beneficial to plants). but when they wake up, even if they're calm, there's still some lava activity (bc u know ..revitalization and their heartbeats and stuff) and that small amount is enough to make the plants wither away before pip gets to see them !!
✧ it doesn't help that their eyes r still kinda bad after a rage bc of all the soot/ash so even if they did try to see, they couldn't
✧ they prefer having short hair bc most plant nymphs don't have long hair, so whenever their hair grows out after an outburst, they just rip off the bottom portion

ALSO i decided to give them a friend!!
✧ idea for their friend rn is trans boy water nymph !!
✧ he's there to help pip calm down but sometimes he gets random flashes of depression and doesn't feel like doing anything
✧ pip only acts like their actual self (the explosive, rude-ish person) instead of their Gentle Nature-Loving appearance in front of him. he's their closest friend

fun fact: the types of green for the hair dye is apparently 'parakeet' and 'shamrock'. i dont fucking know which is which\

when pip gets angry their lava stuff activates (i was thinking abt it being the replacement sorta of blood?? if tht makes sense? im gonna work out the science Later) and their hair starts rising up (bc its kind of like a lava ish thing as well??) and burning off the green hair dye they put on
scab looking things start to appear on their body, especially on the arms, and it hardens. soot and ash and stuff may start leaking from pores on their body??

when things get heated (:3c lmao) the lava starts flaring like an eruption, and things get Fiery real quick and there's smoke and all that shit and it takes a while for them to calm down and get their stuff unactivated ;0c
