- Jovian is autistic, and is very sensitive to touch and textures. Basically, no touchy him, if you're not super close

Master Jovian Mats von Rosengarten, (just call him Jovian, or Jovi) is a strange little demon, who has been popping up in Mahou Wando since the Creacher Stampede. Back then his visits were short little trips to check things out, but now that he's enrolled in the academy, he's here to stay!
He is not one to go outside a whole lot, preferring to stay inside and sew plushies, tinker with machinery or munch on candy. He's not super interested in talking to people, but alas... Dad thinks he needs to have friends... And he probably does... But that doesn't mean he has to like it, or that he has to try to get friends ALL the time. That's way too exhausting.
Besides, he has already found a couple of friends/allies. 4 is probably enough of those. Jovian is inclined to think so.

Jovian Mats von Rosengarten is a quite young, and quite powerful little demon, attending Agatha Academy, partly so he can hopefully learn more about his powers, partly because his dad has taken quite an interest in the realm.
Originating from the deepest catacombs of Hell, Jovian’s morals are questionable at best, and non-existent at worst. He never really means any harm, but isn’t really bothered by causing it either.
Known as The Plush Demon, Jovian has a fondness for stuffed animals and is very good at making them, and he puts his heart and soul in every single one of them.
Or… Someone’s soul is at least going in them. If it’s not a bit of his own, it’s someone else’s. It just makes his soft cuddly friends that much more interesting.
The puppet on his hand is called Henrietta, and he always keeps it close. It seems to have a personality completely separate from his own, and he'll often let you know that "Henrietta thinks this" or "Henrietta says that". Sometimes the puppet speaks on its own. And it never sounds like it is just Jovian speaking through it.

Control:
Jovian's soulbinding ability means that he can take people's souls, and bind them to inanimate objects. He does this with a lot of his plushies, but he can bind souls to other things too! Like TVs, art, robots, mirrors or figurines. The sky is the limit!

The boy is a demon, straight from hell. His grasp on what is good and bad is not great, and he generally just does what he wants to do. If someone gets upset in the process that's not intended, but he doesn't mind it either.
Helping hands and eyes

Demons from Jovian's universe can summon a limited number of extra eyes and hands, and Jovian is no exception. A special ability he learnt from his dad, however, is the ability to embed said hands and eyes into objects. Jovian puts them in his plushies, sometimes, to make them move and see for him.

Despite him being Lord of Surveillance, it took a while before Max noticed that Jovian was originally following him. Jovian is incredibly skilled at not being seen if he doesn't want to be. Which is a lot of the time. He'll just hang out in the background, thank you!

This little guy is full of knowledge on anything electronic or mechanical. Having learnt some of it from watching his dad, and some of it from just reading combined with trial-and-error, Jovian is handy with a wrench and quick on a keyboard. He'll build a thing, and program it too in no time.

Wanna bribe him or quickly get on his good side? The fastest way to do that is with candy. He loves anything sweet and sugary and is often willing to help for nothing more than a lollipop or a cupcake. You won't form a strong bond with him like this, but if you just need his help for a little while, this is an easy way to get it.
Story
Origin
Jovian was born in the Catacombs of hell, to a parent who since succumbed to its influence, leaving the demon toddler with little other choice than to leave and look for a new guardian. After leaving the Catacombs, and arriving at the Village, he didn't have to look around for too long before setting his eyes on some greasy looking guy, with a lot of cool spidery TV robots! A guy who just so happened to be a powerful lord of Hell, Maximilian Karl von Rosengarten (also known as Max). After about a week of following him around without getting noticed, he began to make his presence known to Max. It took several more weeks before Jovian began to really interact with him, and even more, before Jovian said anything. Their first conversation went like this:
"AIGHT KID, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT!?"
"Want dad..."
Max respected the straightforwardness and decided to adopt the kid. Jovian has lived with his new dad ever since. He loves playing with him and watching him work on stuff in his workshop. He's gotten good at helping him work too, with him being better at keeping track of tools and deadlines, than his somewhat scatterbrained dad.
Life in hell
Being an introvert, Jovian doesn't have a lot of friends in hell and prefers to just stay at home and make plushies, help his dad in the workshop, or hang around the caretaker robot, Robbie, that Max made to keep him company when he's too busy. He likes Robbie a lot, even if he messes with him sometimes. After all... He is not just Max's creation... Jovian "helped" a bit. He wanted Robbie to want to make pancakes. And figuring nothing can properly want something without sentience, Jovian decided to add that to the robot (a decision Max wasn't involved in, and one he didn't approve of.)
Jovian does enjoy the occasional stroll through Hell, however. He will take trips down to the levels with imprisoned souls, and walk around by the cells. Sometimes he stops and asks one of the sinners if they want a way out of their cell. Most say no to that offer, at this point, but Jovian isn't a liar, and those who say yes do indeed get to leave their cells... There's a reason most say no to the offer, though.
Mahou Wando
After buying a mysterious key from the village's merchant, Jovian stumbled across Mahou Wando, right around creacher spring. It was very loud and very crowded, so he kept in the background, but he managed to snatch a Telemon, and get a good enough look at the Kleptinis to make a new, very beloved, plushie based on them, called Sprocket. After relaying his discoveries of this new realm to his dad, Max got very interested and thought it'd be a great idea if Jovian enrolled in Agatha Academy. It's safer than Hell, and more exciting anyway.

After having followed the demon lord of surveillance around the village of hell for a couple of months, both Jovian and the lord decided that he was this child's dad now (a decision Jovian had already reached a while back). Jovian loves his adopted father very much, and enjoys spending time with him, and learning from him.
Rob "Robbie" Bott

Lord Maximilian built Robbie before adopting Jovian, but has since redesigned and repurposed him to be able to babysit Jovian whenever he's too busy to look after him. Jovian has been known to tamper ever so slightly with his programming (his love for making pancakes was one of Jovian's additions).
