Noah "The Storm" Miller

Powers:

-Teleportation is an urge for Noah! If he attempts to ignore the itch, he'll spontaneously (dangerously!) teleport after several days of abstaining.

-There's no real visual component for outsiders, but each teleportation is always marked by a firecracker volume bang where he leaves and a gust of wind where he appears.

-He can teleport a maximum of one other person, only by firm contact. (Bear hugs!) He suggests willing passengers hold their breath and close their eyes!

-Passengers feel like they are standing still while the world whirls around them. Unwilling/unprepared passengers typically will feel severe nausea, dizziness and a lingering sense of uneasiness.

Essentials:

-Lives in a society with lots of prejudiced laws for mutants, supernatural creatures, etc.

-As his mutant gift is loud and obvious, he obscures his identity when he goes out for teleporting "runs."

-His community depends on the mysterious "Storm" persona to keep them safe, so Noah is frequently keeping an ear open for trouble.

-He is...really exhausted! There's no breaks since he can't suppress his abilities for long. :( Also, he is very isolated socially, in spite of his heroic deeds.

His Storm reputation is what drew her attention. Ella contacted him via his dreams when she needed his particular skill set. He agreed to help her in exchange for Ella's assistance chasing off a mysterious hostile mutant, who has been hounding Noah for years.
