“Oh, buttons! I dropped my necklace before it’d been tied. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk - er, beads.”

Full Name: Charm Bracelet Glimmer (Changed her name from “Charm Spell Glimmer”)

Nickname(s): Charm, Charmer, Teacher’s Pet (Bookworm)

Species: Unicorn

Gender: Cisgender Female (She/Her)

Sexuality: Bisexual

Age: 19

Parents: Headmare Starlight Glimmer (Runs the School of Friendship while Princess Twilight is away) and Vice Headmare Moondancer (Starlight’s right-hoof pony)

Sibling(s): Bookworm Glimmer (Younger Brother)

Personality: Encouraging, creative, possesses strong leadership qualities (was voted “most likely to become mayor of Ponyville” by her peers), motherly (her parents worked from sunrise to sunset during her formative years, which left her to basically raise and look after Bookworm on her own), and Equestria’s biggest social butterfly.

Fatal Flaws: Nosy, compulsive, unintentionally bossy, annoyingly-cheerful (she wasn’t the face of the Timberwolves’ cheer squad for nothing), and oblivious (she doesn’t get why anyone would “choose” to be introverted, heck, it’s just a little conversation, right?).

Special Talent: Jeweler

Cutie Mark Story: Charm loved cheerleading. It was her favorite pastime in between club meetings and attending her school’s monthly pep rallies. When she wasn’t practicing, she would even let her little brother, Bookworm, mess around with her pompoms as she did her homework (anything to keep him preoccupied while their parents were away).

One day, however, he got bored and started ripping the streamers out until there were hardly any left. Charm was furious, seeing as she now had to spend her hard-earned money on another pair, which also included the extra fines towards her school (the initial provider of said pompoms). She needed a quick and easy way to save money for new ones, as well as a more efficient way of keeping her brother busy.

She tried everything she could think of. A lemonade stand, a carriage wash, a dog walking service, but she always came up just a few bucks short of her goal. Finally, when all hope seemed lost, Rarity (a close friend of her mother, Starlight), gave her a beading kit for Heartswarming Eve - This gave her an idea.

She decided to make custom jewelry for her friends and family to help save the remaining bits for her pompoms (and a coloring pad for Bookworm). Not only did these bracelets and necklaces push her over the edge of her goal, but it ended up also giving her something no money can buy... a Cutie Mark.
