Greetings, I am Qiinora. I am a part of the Reform staff at the Open Palm Monastery. I have lived in Xaikai all my life, but only traveled to the monastery about--- well..., I suppose it would be nearly a decade by now. 8 years ago. I lead my pupils to enrich their self-esteem, and to build confidence in their actions.To value themselves as individuals, regardless of their pasts. We have all traveled along the same rocky path, albeit all with different stone. I think acknowledging this, and moving forward to build self-confidence is a mandatory step in order for any individual to be able to successfully channel their ki. It certainly was a big step for me.
I teach my pupils the value of thinking thoroughly beforehand, to follow their gut instincts, and act with conviction. I am aware that first this may sound oxymoronic- following one's instincts yet also thinking thoroughly beforehand. In reality, these come together easily with practice. With thought comes the ability to trust your instincts. And instinct will lead you to consider the right questions. Second-thoughts and hesitance communicate a lack of confidence in oneself, and a lack of thought in one's actions. If we are going to act, we must be steadfast.
