Personality
Ezra is a bit void of emotion. He doesn't have much to say in how he 'feels' about something, but like a general idea on the subject. He tries to be kind, but 'Isnt that subjective?' And tends to err on the side of what will bring people closer to him. Unfortunately that also means he can sense their feelings as well.
He has this unquenchable innate desire to tell riddles, and while some of them can be very intricate, he also sometimes just speaks in questions. Surely they're the same thing, right? Having been created by an unknown entity to guard a treasure he cared nothing for, his creator discarded him when a 'better' version was made. Now he is no longer bound to the item and can live life as 'normal' as he could while only being able to speak in these riddles. It was what he was designed for!
That being said, using those fleshy blue tendrils, he can sense how someone is feeling. In the past he would use that to tell if someone was struggling with one of the riddles and would soak up the heavy emotions. Now he can still sense the feelings of those around him, and relishes the heavy emotions they may be feeling.
Unfortunately for them, his 'riddles' are sometimes geared towards baiting them to expel heavy amounts of energy.
Physical qualities
A small munchkin cat with gaps in his left front and back leg. He has a light brown top coat with striped darker brown. He has a long blue fleshy tentacle that wraps around his body and turns into three long fingers. Along his eyes, shoulders and knees are small fleshy blue spots that act as emotional whiskers.
Powers, abilities and skills
Ezra speaks in riddles. He's mostly accurate when he says things, and sometimes messes up on purpose to tell a riddle that has no true answer just to frustrate people.
His fleshy blue parts can sort of taste the air like a snakes tongue in order to sense what someone is feeling at the time. He absorbs negative energy, but sometimes when someone is feeling incredibly happy he can absorb that too :)
Its less that he absorbs and takes it away than it is that he basks in it like a reptile basking in a heat lamp. It gives him energy just being there.
