Saa was taken in by hunting slavers when they checked the shores and found him crying as a baby, a nearby older sister forced to flee back into the waters when the men came to try and capture the both of them. He is unaware that he still has family, and has been raised as a pet since his capture.

Notes:
-Eats a mostly seafood-based diet.
-Wonders what life is like outside of the store, as either a bought pet or a free nonhuman.
-In his dreams, sometimes he can faintly hear his sister's voice, but forgets upon waking up.
-Semi-aware that his situation is awful and the life of a pet is not a good one, and that nonhumans are suffering, but his abilities keep him from being too affected by the negative qualities of his life.
-Could be considered brainwashed by his own powers, not at all helped by his lack of control and awareness over them.  

Powers:
Serenity - Strong, largely undetectable passive ability that causes him and everyone near him to feel fairly calm and happy and at peace with things. Negative emotions, thoughts, and situations are less likely to occur, but people with strong wills or mental resistance, or those that are fairly evil or deeply unhappy are more capable of resisting the ability. Those with trauma of any kind will feel soothed near him. Effect often becomes stronger when speaking, and can work vocally. Works on the living and undead, while vocalization is required for it to take effect on robotic beings.

Blessed Fortuity - Positive or fortunate situations are more likely to occur, though due to Saa being unaware of this power and it currently operating on a basic passive level as a result, the effects are minimal (such as being less likely to be mistreated) and apply only to himself.

Impenetrable Mind/Dulling - Literally incapable of being fully traumatized, his mind dulling the trauma to a manageable, distant level, aided by his Serenity ability. Telepaths are unlikely to be capable of breaching his mind, more likely to get lost within a pleasant daze of their most favorite/happiest memories and interests instead if trying to enter. Other forms of mental attacks have their effectiveness dulled as well.

Shapeshift - Entirely unpracticed with this ability due to being collared, but technically should be capable of transforming into a merman or narwhal form.

Capable of seeing and hearing underwater just as well as he can on land, as well as breathing underwater.

-Fares poorly in dry, hot climates.
