This requires him to be at least partially out of the water a lot. He 'lives' around a hot little island where avocado trees grow on the coast. Usually hangs out in their shade after drying out enough that he's not going to ruin his non-waterproof papers. Glues the trees' flowers to himself using some of his materials because he thinks they look pretty : ) He seals some in the same way he seals his maps so that they won't wither out of season. His fingers are webbed except for this thumb, which gives him a bit more mobility
