The Maverick. The half-lynx.
While rarely spotted in either of the Septs' territories, he isn't entirely unfriendly. He seems rather skittish, though, and will quickly direct others towards the nearest landmark, fleeing at the most opportune moment.
He wanders around near Whitewater, occasionally straying near one specific house...
Gyllene is a quiet tom despite his size and strength, with a timid disposition and a will as weak as twigs underfoot.
He isn't cruel, by any means, but he prefers to avoid any sort of confrontation, quickly buckling under pressure to appease the other party. And he seems to know this, because when anyone approaches, he'll try to point them to Whitewater, hoping directions will sate their curiosity.

KITHOOD
Outside of his half-lynx parentage, his kithood was unremarkable. Rufus, his father, came around often due to being a housecat in Whitewater; both of his parents would tell him stories of the past, telling him what mistakes not to repeat, morals he could remember for the future, and where his name came from.
ADULTHOOD
He had a mate, a tomcat whose name and allegiance he doesn't care to share. Now he wanders by himself, visiting his parents from time to time, but mostly just observing from a distance; a family tradition.

Gyllene is a feline hybrid; as such, he is notably larger and differently built from a domestic cat, with larger paws and thicker legs. He has a short tail and large, triangular ears; a large nose; and round pupils like his lynx mother, rather than slitted like his domestic father.
In the winter, his coat gets thicker and greyer; in the summer, it is the palette he is normally drawn as.
He tends to stand either alert, with his muscles tense, or hunched over so as to avoid any attention.
The two toms speak often, sharing stories of the things they've seen and the things they've been taught.
While these two speak less often due to their solitary nature, they still love each other dearly; if any cat speaks ill of Gyllene and his mother catches wind of it, it's inadvisable to seek her out.
