Backstory: Her parents died when she and her brother were 12, they lived on the street until a group of pirates took them in and kinda adopted them. They worked on the ship until they climbed the ranks becoming captain and firstmate. When her brother eventually steps down, she becomes captain.
At some point, she falls in love with Calypso, but they are a good friends for a long time before they become anything else.
