Magda is the younger sister to Mallory-- though they share a mother and not a father. Unlike her sister, she doesn't have a talent for magic-- which is a shame because she wouldn't squander it like Mallory does if she did. They really aren't similar, outside of looks. Magda isn't easily angered like her sister or tricky in any way. She's honestly a soft bean, and really the only one who tends to push her buttons is her older sister-- which is what can really set her off. Even though she's the younger of the two, she's by far the more mature one, and she's really the only person who knows how to reign her sister in.
