Chauncey is the type of person who truly was born to be royalty. Pampered from his earliest days. As an adult he has chosen to surround himself with people who will fawn over him and tell him how wonderful he is (which is true, obviously!) the way his parents and nannies did when he was a child. Coincidentally he possesses magic that thrives off the praise of others. With the help of his teacher his parents hope to tame this unusual ability for the good of the kingdom. Chauncey is significantly less interested in achieving that goal. Instead of practicing, he seeks out fun and the affection of constantly changing beaus. He is also not above giving his staff impossible tasks on a whim. Chauncey is a very sporty youth and also enjoys activities like riding, swimming, and fencing. Chauncey also has a passion for animals. He has a menagerie of matching fluffy white animals (minimum grey allowed) and he’s rarely seen without one of his collection in his company. His love for them in genuine even if most of them seem catatonic.

Enchanted Verse strongly resembles a typical fairytale kingdom setting with some key differences. Magic had been used in place of electricity for some time, but recently less magically inclined communities have discovered and employed electrically run technologies creating an interesting blend of the old and the new. While the rich still rely primarily on magic, and the most advance creations are still magic based, modern technologies are catching up. In the changing landscape all sorts of races struggle to carve out a niche for themselves.
