Mouche

Son of the ThunderClan's leader, he was born during the war, on the side of the bad guys. The bad guys that lost. He saw his mother being executed in front of him. He saw the raven eat her corpse until dawn. Retribution for the deaths she caused they said. She deserved it, they said. Mouche is a pretty autistic child, who searched all his life the love of a mother who despises him. After her death, he lost all he add. He was never able to cope with the trauma of losing her and soon, all of his family. He repressed it all, preferring to live in his own fantasy world, where bugs are his friends and where everyone is alive and loves him.

A child's mind trapped in an adult body is the best way to describe him. Good natured, friendly and enthusiastic about anything, Mouche is a great company, if you can bear his weird way of talking. He has a very hard time with good manners, social conventions and right and wrong. People are often mad at him, and he doesn’t know why. What’s wrong with eating the prey of someone else ? He was hungry. Why is the nice lady horrified by his bug cemetery ? He only wanted to study them, he didn’t know they needed air to live. He has a secret language with WorkKit, his brother. WormKit is down to do anything Mouche proposes. WormKit loves bugs, like him. People put WormKit under the ground but that doesn't stop them for being friends.

KITTEN
Son of Etoile de Suie / AshStar and Coeur de Coyote / CoyoteHeart, the deputy. Her mother almost dies during the birth, which may explain why she entrusts Vent du Désert / DesertWind to raise her kits. Mouche grows up with Petit Ver / WormKit and Boule Brûlante / HotKit, his biological siblings, and Petite Pénombre / Darkness Kit, his milk sister. He develops a very strong bond with Little Worm: they are always together, picking up bugs and talking in the secret language they invented.
Mouche is proud to have such prestigious parents, but is unaware that he is a shame for them. He is afraid of her mom and is willing to do anything she asks him, for recognition or just to get her to stop looking at him with a stern look.
Coyote Heart and Hotkit disappear shortly after he is born. He has a very vague memory of them. Just before he becomes an apprentice, Little Worn eats a caterpillar and choke to death. The disappearance of her beloved brother affects him deeply. Refusing to believe that we will never see Little Worn again, he stays on his grave, nights and days, waiting for him to dig the dirt and come back to him.

APPRENTICE
It is in this sad context that he is appointed apprentice alongside DarknessPaw. The Clan’s deputy, Vautour Fauve doesn't seem downright thrilled to have to train him. Mouche quickly proves himself useless: clumsy, he eats way more prey that he can catch. He has a hard time understanding what they want from him and prefers to roam the woods, collecting insects. However, he grows big and strong. Unaware of his strength, he often hurts other apprentices at training battles.
Her mother makes five other kits with Coup de Foudre / Thunderbolt. Mouche loves them very much, spending a lot of time in the nursery playing with them.
The Lunard Pods, a group of religious fanatics, arrive in the forest. AshStar decides to support them, seeing in them powerful allies. However, the Lunard Pods are defeated during an assault against all the Clans. AshStar dies, executed by the other Clan leaders. Mouche tried to protect her, but could do nothing. He stays with her corpse, helpless and empty. Everyone turned on her, except him, Thunderbolt and birds eating her.
Shortly after this battle, the Wind Clan attacks their camp. Mouche fights alongside DarknessPaw, determined to protect those he cares about. No use. His adoptive mother loses her life in the battle. DarknessPaw leaves the Clan shortly after her mom's death. Mouche is really disturbed, he who has never really mourned any death, stuck in the denial phase. He convinces himself that they are still there, somehow.

ADULTHOOD
His mentor becomes the Clan leader and appoints his brother to support him. VultureStar doesn’t have time to train him anymore and Mouche becomes a warrior. Being a warrior means much more freedom and that’s when he finds his crow friend. Raising the wounded chick in a Clan full of hungry cats is not easy. Thus, he often prefers to sleep far away from his companions. No one really keeps him attached to his Clan anymore, besides ThunderBolt. He is often in trouble, as he crosses the borders, unaware of the dumb rivality between the other Clans.
One day he meets Soleil / Sun, a female that flew her Clan. She has to cross the ThunderClan territory to see a friend that lives among the humans. Enthusiastic, Mouche follows her. He can't believe his eyes when he realizes that the friend that Sun went to see is no other than Darkness, her sister. But Darkness doesn’t want to come home with him : she flew the ThunderClan that she can’t stand anymore, so her kitten will have a more peaceful life. Mouche refuses to abandon her and vows to stay with her, always, anywhere. Sun proposes to both to live with her : she will create a group of pacifist cats, living away from the rivalry and jealousy of the Clans. Mouche accepts immediately, thrilled to stay with a female that can bring back to life the people he loves. Surly Sun can bring back his brother Little Worn, too.

• He's got a crow, named Oiseau that he "rescued". Mouche found him on the ground when the bird was a little chick. He tried to eat him (hence the missing wing) and finally adopted him. The bird follows him everywhere.
• He has a very weird way of talking. He uses outdated words that he learned from the old cats, combine differents words together to create new one and uses the wrongs words and gramatical nature all the time.
• Spend most of his time on the ground, observing insects and learning facts about them. His favorite are beetles.
• He's a bit chubby and is hungry all the time.
