Special People;
- Quirrel; ??? (Appears ~mid-30's); he/Him; Alive; Lilac's boyfriend and one of the few kind travelers she's met. Lilac was especially taken by Quirrel as they both shared the same passion for history and had a habit of fixating on long-forgotten mysteries. Lilac worries about him and his fixation on the past, hoping to coax him to see a future for himself.
- Andromeda; Ancient; She/Her; Alive; Lilac's grandmother and head of the Eastern Moth Clan, Andromeda raised Lilac to follow in her footsteps as leader of the clan, but realized Lilac preferred to be a scholar and historian, and gave her the best education she could to support her granddaughter. The two are very close.
- Chesire; Late Twenties; He/Him, They/Them; Alive; A frenemy of Lilac's, Cheshire is a treasure hunter who often seems to loot the very locations Lilac is documenting. Their relationship is Chesire teasingly flirts with Lilac while she chastises him about looting and rolls her eyes at his flirting. However, they have each other's backs when the going gets tough, and they know they can rely on the other.
Design Notes;
- Freckles! Her freckles are concentrated on her back, shoulders, arms, and cheeks.
- Lilac almost always has her yellow scarf on her, no matter the weather. She might remove it for special occasions if she has to dress up. Both her gijinka and normal form have the scarf.
- Lilac tends to style her hair out of her face, usually pinning her bangs back or braiding them out of her face. She tends to keep it up when she sleeps too, though it often falls apart in the night.
- Lilac is short! She's about five foot even (with me headcanoning Quirrel at about 5'6"/5'7").
- Lilac tends to come off younger than she is due to her height and faceshape. She's a fully-grown adult and has been for nearly a decade, thank you very much.
Trivia;
- Lilac is a White Ermine Moth! Her gijinka form has a similar color scheme of yellow, white, and brown! Her freckles are the spots.
- Lilac's clan is a sister clan to the Hallownest Moth Clan who have lost the magical knowledge of the Dream Nail and its abilities. As such, they still have traditions from when they resided in Hallownest, such as mask wearing. Children of the Eastern Moth Clan wear masks until they reach adulthood (20 years old)
- Lilac tends to think outloud, largely unconsciously. She used to murmur back home so as not to disturb others but learned to raise her voice so to keep herself sane while traveling alone. (Quirrel finds it quite adorable and likes to hear her thoughts.)
- Lilac is a bit of a romantic. Sue her, she wants to be swept off her feet.
- Lilac's guilty pleasure is romance novels. While she insists she has taste (because she does, thank you very much), she will also read about anything romantic, be it good or bad. She can complain and make jokes about the bad ones then and plague Quirrel with them.
