Many years ago, Iisoús had given a human magic and the human had abused it. However, the human was inevitably defeated. Alas, that human had casted one last spell that spawned in an awful being before death. That being was Égale, and she was given the task of taking revenge on Iisoús and even destroying the lands of Eitor out of the humans spite. With her ability to hide in shadows, she slipped away once summoned so her existence would remain undetected until she decided to show herself on her own time. She now roams Eitor, causing chaos wherever she goes. 

At some point on her journey, she had learned about the existence of 5 forbidden summoning spells: Fytó, Antikeímeno, Skía, Chóros, and Finis. These are spells that are able to bring in powerful and dangerous demons from another realm into Eitor. These spells had to be casted in order, each one bringing in more powerful demons than the last. It is said that once Finis is casted, the end will follow.

Only less than 20 years ago, she encountered a kid Marcucio hiding in an abandoned mansion. The dragoness actually found him sort of cute, so she didn't do anything bad to him, but she did use her abilities to root out some of his memories and found information about a "Philosophers orb" inside of him. A powerful artifact of alchemy, it'd give those who used it the power to freely change and manipulate the state of the matter around them. ....Égale needed this, but only Marcucio had access to it. Not only that, but it was buried DEEP within his subconscious so it was likely that she'd have to work hard for it. She actually spent the next 20-30 years of her life raising him and learning alchemy. She was actually very... Motherly, teaching him how to take care of himself. Over the years, she obviously dropped vague hints about this orb until one day, Marcucio actually trusted her and decided to bring her to it. Unfortunately, once granted access, she had stolen this orb and without a word, ditched Marcucio and left him in the dust. She continued on about with her goals of raising hell and ruining others, now with more abilities.

Personality

Egale was first known for being more of a serious and silent type when she first came into existence. However, as time passed shes been growing to become disgustnigly smug and sadistic. Her entire being was created to raise hell, and she has a lot of fun doing it, She ruins peoples lives and destroys homes and villages as a pass time, all with a shit eating grin on her face. With her abilities to invade peoples minds, she's also incredibly manipulative and will exploit people and their insecurities to get what she wants, or to get them to turn against their friends and family, as she has once done to Iisoús and Loria, and Josh. She'll frequently manipulate people into joining her side, sometimes she just makes people feel terrible about themselves for no other reason besides entertainment. She only laughs at all of those who oppose of her, not remotely caring if she's ever defeated. Because she can't be killed off permanently, she views her goals as a big game that only she can win. 

Égale often puts on a kind, caring attitude as a facade to lure people in, and again manipulate them.

Abilities

Egale is a shadowy creature in Eitor, meaning that she can hide in shadows and read peoples minds and subconciousness. The fact that she's a shadow creature makes her an annoying opponent to battle from the start, but ontop of that the recently obtained philosiphers orb allows her to manipulate the state of matter around her and create powerful elemental attacks, making her a massive threat. She also has a dangerous arsenal of forgotten methods of magic that are considered unethical. Jumping around her opponents and calling thrm out for their insecurities, she's one of the nastiest opponents Eitor has to offer. If anyone ever manages to keep up with her speed and avoid letting her insults get to them, a few clean fatal blows can temporarily send her away back into the Deep End.

Immortality and regeneration- Instead of being killed when taking fatal blows, she turns into an icky black liquid and sinks her way back into Le Supplice. Here, she can regenerate her body.

Mind and memory reading- Égale can read the thoughts of others, and even look through their subconscious memories just by staring at them. She roots out their most private memories to exploit the information.

Shadow lurk- Égale can turn into an intangible shadow alongside a surface and move along said surface at unfathomable speeds. She can also teleport to existing shadows, like ones being casted by people or objects, and reform herself. She's able to partially turn parts of her body like her claws into shadows in order to gain more evasiveness and movement options. She can even lurk her way into other neighboring realms, like the deep end. If she wills it, anyone making contact with her and vice versa will be dragged into the shadows with her.

Gateway summoning- Combing alchemy and her shadow magic, she can open portals and rifts into other realms to suck others into. However, she only knows how to reach Le Supplice and back and nothing else.
