Story

Autumn Moon Sect Verse:
Hua Wushu was a sickly child. Because of the Lord whose care he was under he no longer lacked food or shelter but was offered not a shred of affection. Spurned by the others of the household he was cared for out of necessity and on good days was simply ignored. On the bad? Well it was only harsh and fearful whispers of course.
Unbeknownst to him this treatment was because of what he represented: a sacrifice, a savior, a vessel. And one to be feared, as one of the incarnations of the Fiend Qiongqi was sealed inside him.
Qiongqi was a terrible beast, one of the Four Fiends. It could never be truly vanquished. For as long as Deviousness resides in the heart of even one man the Fiend lives on. But it wants more, always hungers for more. It can’t only live in our hearts it wants to feast and pillage with its own claws. Incarnations of the beast are born every few hundred years, coagulations of its power attempting to give it form in our realm. Not it’s true self merely a fraction of its power but unto us a devastation. These incarnations are sealed under mountains, or bound in deity binding chains, or in this case sealed imprisoned in a human vessel; to be guarded at all times under the eyes of Great Sects so the beasts power can never grow enough to truly return. As it always has been and should be…and yet…

Everytime the beast stirred the boy would loose time and himself only to know the remnants of suffering he couldn’t quite remember. Whatever deeds the Fiend had done through him he had no clue, often waking up to sore to move much, and sometimes with blood poorly washed off; embedded under his nails or the faint taste of copper in his mouth and sometimes he even awoke with bruises on his wrists and ankles as if he’d been tied down.
During these these lost times the people around him were even colder, harsher, more distant.
The episodes then became so violent the Lord feared for his servants and the state of the Fiends seal, a cultivator was called.

Mei Qiuyue had arrived at the estate and had clearly seen the waning in the bindings of the seal. Incensed he gave his own Qi to boost the boy’s strength and that of the seal. But Hua Wushu could not stay here under a Lords dubious care. He must be kept by a Cultivational Sect as it should have been from the start. Had it been much longer Hua Wushu would have been used up as fuel to the seal and perish, freeing the Fiend.
And so he took the boy with him. He personally saw to his training in magic, talismans, and the control of Spirit Beasts as these were the kinds of cultivation that would most aide him. Magic and the cultivation of ones Golden Core, to strengthen his Qi and fuel the seal, talismans with their myriad of uses and to bolster his abilities and control, and Spirit Beasts, to advance his training in seals and to add as additional power draws to the one binding the Fiend.
When he was ready the Sect Leader gave him his first Spirit Beast to keep for his own, one caught by Mei Qiuyue himself. A powerful creature that specialized in sealing and suppression who could maintain the seal while its Master could focus on training and gaining strength. With his body no longer betraying him and his strength and stamina growing while the sickly-ness waned. Hua Wushu was officially brought into the Autumn Moon Sect. No longer an orphan he carried the Leaders name: Mei Wushu.
Because of his Sect Leader Mei Wushu felt he had been given a chance to actually live a life of his own, no longer spurned nor bed-bound. To him his Sect Leader was everything and an embodiment of the antithesis to the beast inside himself. He vowed his life and loyalty, to be a most studious and diligent disciple, to carry himself with elegance and be as poised as his Sect Leader demanded of his Sect. To IGNORE the things the Fiend whispered he should do…
