i completely forgot that i wrote him down in my roman letters list with a g and used 'jino' in quotes almost the whole time oh no. which is it

Tiana's assigned companion/bodyguard. Takes care of things so she doesn't have to. 

Acts aloof and 'what would you do without me', but seeing his protege smiling and unharmed is something he cherishes deeply.

His magic ability is free control of growing out and retracting his nails, controlling the direction they grow in, so it's perfectly useable for both getting things from the other side of the room and intimidating someone with huge claws. His hands are covered with scars from lacking control during childhood.
