Growing up on the streets, Ava never knew a life other than one full of hardship and peril - it was always her and her sister versus the world. There was always a new problem they'd never faced before that threatened to destroy them - they had to be quick on their feet. Ava has long since lost count of how many times she's almost died - the last being the most tragic. Getting separated from her sister, Ava gets captured, and sent to a strange place full of food and warmth...
Abandoned at a young age, Fae was taken in by a rich family of butterflies. The lavishness of mansions, fine dining, and fancy clothes were three evil stepsiblings, butterflies who did not appreciate their parent's generosity. Deeming her as inferior, they constantly bullied and belittled her, with her parents rarely around to protect her. Fae did her best to justify their actions, until one day she ran away, doing her best to survive alone, until a strange man found her in an alleyway...

THE TRUTH IS, I LIKE YOU!
They're from two different worlds. Fae grew up in luxury and learned to always assume the best in people. Ava grew up destitute and learned to always assume the worst. Fae has always worn her heart on her sleeve, Ava has learned to conceal anything that might make her appear weak. Day by day, Fae slowly peels back the layers Ava has built around herself for protection, and Ava builds up layers of protection around Fae's sensitive heart.
The truth is somewhere between them.
It didn't take long for the two to fall in love - just encouragement from the right people. Ava couldn't bring herself to be mean to such a cute girl, and Fae wanted to get to know the mysterious grumpy panda a little better. They fell in love almost immediately. Fae asked her out and Ava, with no concept of what that meant, immediately agreed.
Ever since, the two have been inseparable - rarely ever seen apart. Fae's bed in her dormroom stands empty, as she has essentially moved herself into Ava's bed. Their hands are almost always interlocked, unless Ava is carrying her wife around once more. Anyone who looks at the moth the wrong way is immediately subjected to the panda's wrath. The older kids all sigh when they run past - when will they find a partner like that?
Trivia
- Fae worries about every single young butterfly they meet stealing her girlfriend, no matter how many times Ava refutes this. That being said, any butch near Fae sends Ava into kill mode.
- Ava has a bad habit of carrying Fae around. She's too small and cute, it makes her want to hold!!
- Fae probably wishes she could attend more classes, but Ava skips most of them, so she spends most her time watching Ava train 0//0
- They have matching hammers!
- Ava tends to make Fae cry a lot with her brash behaviour. It's usually enough to stop her in her tracks, however.
Design Notes
- Always wears her gloves!! Unless she is in pyjamas, her gloves are ALWAYS on!
- Very, extremely round. She is nothing but circles.
- Her hair is pinned back, not in pigtails. Similarly, her hair is a red to brown gradient, not brown pigtails!
- Ava's as beefy as a 12 year old can manage to be!
