During the start of the story, Furnace moves to Siloport for the very first time. Siloport is a bit of an unwelcoming place, but she is happy to have a new start after ending her old career, and as a step to recovering from the bomb incident. Furnace is distant and apathetic towards strangers, but extremely warm and kind to the ones she considers friends. She equally has a hard time forming relationships with others, and becoming attached to people very quickly due to the amount she has had to move, especially if she relates to them, or thinks they're similar in that they don't fit in with others (<<<< Furnace is very cheesy for that). Furnace is pretty much incapable of being serious, she is playful, and is fascinated with people's traditions. While she moved around America, she lived with a lot of people and picked up many kinds of traditions, dialects, phrases, etc. During threatening and negative situations, Furnace will protect herself from feeling her own feelings by focusing on trying to protect her friends. Over the course of Slug World she learns to be nicer to strangers and people who she jumps to conclusions with, and disliking, and comes to terms with some of the feeling she's been avoiding, such as the negative impact of her old career, having to move randomly, and suddenly, and loosing her deepest connection and best friend (Amariza).
Furnace was born with double ears and a fluffy tail. After moving multiple times for her job, she started aquiring scars, the horns (they're artificial), and piercings. Furnace only got her double arms and neck scars after moving to Siloport, during the accident that got her to move to Siloport (the bomb incident, that got her her neck scars), and the scrapyard incident (that got her her double arms, and spawned the Slugs). Receiving her double arms also increased her height by a bit.
story
Moving to Siloport
After a considerable incident in her life (this is written about in the "past" section), Furnace moved to Siloport with the intention of starting a new life, and getting away from her old one. When she moved to Siloport, she started looking for possible jobs she could uptake, first applying to be a preist, and then becoming a Mortician, seeming ike easy jobs with minimal work. One evening, Furnace was traversing an unstable scrapyard that was the target location of some old experiments of phenomenons. Traversing it, Furnace glitched between two dimensions that caused parts of her body to be cloned, resulting in her small double arms, and making her taller, and resulted in the slugs transporting to this world. Furnace herself had briefly transported into the dimension of origin of the slugs.
Finding Hazard
One night, Furnace heard some unnatural noise and unnatural movement coming from one of her graveyards close by. With her knife, she went to investigate, and found Hazard, who she immediately claimed as a friend. Furnace helped Hazard in their objective for a long period of time, to try to find their original personality. After months of digging and looking through possible personality candidates, Hazard found the one. Furnace watched Hazard integrate their new personality, it looked very uneventful, with a long, quiet pause. Furnace noticed a small change in Hazard's personality, but concluded the night after a successful mission. Furnace got to know the real Hazard, with a personality they enjoyed, and with the desire to empathise, and with new goals. Furnace takes Hazard almost everywhere with her, showing them the town and encouraging them to talk to people. Furnace loved to watch Hazard talk because she was proud of them, almost to an annoying extent where she'd tease, interrupt, and quiz people talking to Hazard.
Visit Slug Cave 1
Furn finds out about the slugs, finds their base, goes into the slunker and tries to go into the slug cave, but finds out that the entrances are blocked by a bunch of tubes and mechanics from accordion estate. Unfamiliar with accordion estate. i will rephrase this.

Furnace finally got to meet more people in the town of Siloport after she helped Hazard, since she finally got to be able to sleep at night instead of staying up "helping" Hazard.

- Furnace has an inexplicable and uncontrollable ability to summon Slugs, and for the longest time, Furnace did not notice the slugs being summoned. This is due to the fact that due to breifly transporting into the Slug's original universe, where they are the apex predator, she is considered the natural prey, and they follow her, but never in enough mass to actually hurt her badly.
- Furnace got her extra arms and horns in adulthood, but was born with the double ears.
- When Furnace first moved into Siloport, she tried to become a priest as a job. She was rejected because her motives were to scare children and being "the evil priest" when she thought it would be an easy job. She loves her replacement job as a mortician, though.
- Furnace hates music, and hates technology. She believes personal computers are a fad and will not last.
- Furnace's least favourite person award goes to Lovelace, they never get along and immediately assume the other won't cooperate with them. She stopped being so hard on him after she drove him to a funeral.
- Furnace is sensitive to things that remind her of Amariza. She especially doesn't like thinking about Hazard's old personality because of this: Furnace doesn't like their similarities in names, personality, and hairstyle. Too many coincidences. She gets subconciously scared Hazard is trying to "replace" Amariza.
- Her ultimate goal in Siloport is to somehow return to Amariza again.
- Furnace thought she was going to die the second time she visited Slug Cave, and pretended Ash was Amariza in what she thought were her final moments.
- Furnace definetly just goes "Society....." at things. She relates to and wants to befirend the "outcasts" and it's VERY steryotipical.

Furnace's past and the origin of her name
One of Furnace's main jobs was to be a freelance criminal. This started when she was in college and lasted a few years. Unfortunately, though she started right after she graduated she was found out and was on the run. She moved to a new city with a new name, and she adopted being a freelance criminal as her main job, and every time she was found out by local authorities she ran to a new city. This was pretty devastating for her mentally, Furnace is an extrovert and getting close to people and then having to cut them off and run away with less and less time each cycle caused her to have attachment issues, where she got close to people extraordinarily fast but also never really shared personal information to get too attached, that explains her odd attachment to Hazard and Ash. One cycle, she met Amariza, a friend that changed her life, that was the longest Furnace stayed in a town, she tried really hard to not get caught so she can stay with Amariza forever, but she eventually did, which was HORRIBLE for her in ways I won't go into detail. Furnace moved to Siloport after her last town after a terrifying near-death incident that got her to move to Siloport for the hopes of quitting crime for good, to stop being on the run. Her name is Furnace because at the point she's gone through so many identities she kind of messes around with her name, doesn't care too much about it, and doesn't spend too much time thinking about it. She probably doesn't want a human name to be reminded of her past with all those different human names. That's why she's called Furnace, and her last name is Tatilago! And so good that you bring up the Ouroboros,, that's one symbol that represents Furnace, and the cycle of restarting her life she went through!!!
