traits: Sadness, depression, hatred, fear, betrayal, suicidal. All these words about sum Foxglove up. She can't look at her mother without being hit with a pang of hatred for herself and whoever her father is. Her body is forever weak from trying to fight herself, yet being afraid to abandon her mother. Locked in a bout of depression that racks her brain with suicidal thoughts, Foxglove always hates herself for 'wrecking' her mother's life. She wishes desperately that she wasn't an accident, wishes she could believe that her mother really loves her. But her mind is so confused, she can hardly stand herself or anyone else around her. She just needs time alone, yet fears to be alone because she doesn't want an unwanted child. Her crazed mind is not the one you would expect in one so young, yet she could dream of nothing else. Through all her hate and sadness, Foxglove hardly utters a word. The sound of her voice seems magnified to her, drawing to her unwanted attention. The death of Desoto, her one and only love, left her confused and unable to cope with life. She will not believe that he is gone, will not allow herself to think that way, and it is slowly tearing her apart. Sometimes, you can find her talking quietly to herself, just so she doesn't feel so alone.

history: This filly is healthy, however she is very tired from birth and has a hard time getting up. With assistance to get her first feeding she should be fine.

Foxglove was born to Rasa; an unwanted baby. Rasa was raped by Dravos (Misty), an a few months later, all to soon, Foxglove was born. At birth, Foxglove could hardly get up to nurse. As she grew, and Rasa told her the story, Foxglove grew to hate herself and her father. Every day, this hate would get stronger and stronger. She didn't know if her mother truly loved her or if it was just something she was saying. Over time; a very short amount of time; Foxglove began doubting herself and everything around her. She hardly spoke, fearing it would bring to much attention to her and to her mother, fearing they would be looked down upon or called dirty. Some started to call her crazy and wonder if Rasa was treating her okay.

Than, one day, she met Desoto (Kal). She was about one when she met him. The two formed a sort of strange friendship and Foxglove was soon pregnant. When she figured this out, she ran away to her mother. After a mental breakdown and much encouragement from the aging mare, Foxglove gave birth to the foal and, after eight months, sought out to find Desoto again.

They lived in peace, happily ... Until Desoto died (Kal). Distraught, Foxglove ran from her home at six years of age, from her two children, never to return again, and didn't speak for three whole months. She ran to Unclaimed Hearts, where she hoped to be forced into slavery. That did not happen. She was found and taken in by Sundry Legend (Kal). She went home with him to Dusky Lake. (Thread, WE2). He told her that she couldn't call him Desoto (Kal) anymore because he had some horses after him. (Thread, WE2). She thought he was Desoto and to this day still believe that he was, even though he disappeared .. "again." But they were able to mate twice before he was gone. Mohawk (Kal) grew old enough to leave on his own but once Desoto was old enough to be left alone, Foxglove did just that and abandoned her family once more. She left him in the Open Plains, telling him to lay down in the grass and count to ten. She said they were playing a game of hide and seek, but really, Foxglove was running away and abandoning him.

Desoto: She met him as a yearling and quickly fell in love with him, getting pregnant almost immediately upon maturity. His death devastated her and made her mental state rapidly decline.
Desoto (son): Named after her first love and mate, he was the last foal she had with Sundry Legend. She abandoned him in The Open Plains.
Dravos: Her father and though she never met him, she absolutely hates him for being a part of bringing her into this world.
Rasa: Her mother, who she hasn't seen since running away. She has the false belief that Rasa hates her.
