Fuyuki Mitsuki

Gashadokuro are giant skeletal creatures from Japanese mythology that are created from the hatred and anger from those who have died in a particular place. While Mitsuki isn't a textbook gashadokuro, not being a 15 ft skeleton and all, he is one for certain. He came into being on the battlefield of sekigahara a number of years after the battle took place and, at first, he was a slave of the feelings that created him. Anger, hatred, fear and guilt all culminated in his childhood self, but as he grew and came into himself, he developed his own personality, his own interests. While the anger became easier to control, the hatred easier to replace with positivity and the guilt easier to understand, the fear was hard to rid himself of. While he was not personally there, he still bears latent fears from those who died, the fear of fire, blood, crowded spaces swarming with people, all those still remained, to varying degrees.

As time passed around him, he began taking a greater interest in humans, learning to read and indulging himself in their culture. He even learned how to create illusions that hid his strange feline ears and skeletal tail, though many still gave him strange looks for his bone white hair and pale skin. When anime was first created, Fuyuki paid it little mind, far more interested in literature at the time, but as the culture grew, he became enamoreed and began following it and reading it's source material. Nowadays, he's a genuine otaku shut-in, with a little added bonus of recently becoming a streamer, though he's uncertain how long he'll keep that up.
