Backstory

He used to be the guardian of the portal tower in Vargilla. One day, while guarding the gate, he heard a noise coming from the portal. A moment later, various creatures crawled out of it, engulfed in black magic. They were led by his brother, possessed by the will of power. He ordered one dragon-like monster to fight the guard (just for fun). He accepted the challenge to a duel, but unfortunately he was defeated, injured, and his fur turned black. His brother clouded his eyes with a spell and made him a monster (wings, horns, etc.). Together they attacked the city. Devon, deprived of choice, killed defenseless inhabitants. This went on for a long time, until at some point Devon noticed that his brother was holding a magic staff with a black crystal on the end. Then, overcome by greed, he wanted to possess what he had. He silently crept up to him, knocked him down, and took the item from him. The spell his brother had cast on him had worn off and he saw the damage he had done. He used the magic stone to drive away all the creatures and send his brother where he would not run away so quickly. His dragon features have faded away, but sometimes when he is very nervous they reappear and sometimes he finds it hard to control them... Devon has great remorse after the land of Vargilla suffered because of him. He tries his best to fix his mistakes. He is afraid of himself that one day his evil side will come back and do even more damage.
