thistle is my (catofthistles) sona! they represent me both online and in general. i draw them as though they were me and i don't imagine them as particularly separate from me

history

i started coming up with concepts for thistle's design around october of 2019 but only settled on one i liked around may 2020, when i drew their first reference sheet! since then nothing about their design has changed other than minor tweaks as my art has improved and a few accessory additions
