Growl is a predacon who was revived from his remains by Shockwave, him being under decepticon control and befriending another predacon that was built and rearranged to outbest him, Biograde. Growl later joins the autobots
He has a hard time comprehending what is happening at first, then comes to his senses. His personality mainly consists him being observant and less talkative, but as he gets more comfortable he becomes optimistic and goofy (unless in serious situations of course, in such he tries his best relying on his instincts)
