Personality: 

Danno is very much a free spirit, and wants more than anything to experience life to its fullest. Despite his strong sense of loyalty to his comrades, he is naturally curious and wants to know everything about his missions, about why his superiors want him to do what he's given. This nosiness doesn't make him very popular. He does have a powerful charisma, though, and will often banter with his enemies in the field. He openly enthuses about things he likes, though his past heartbreak has toned down this aspect of his personality a lot.

Danno grew up in a large and independently-governed clan, the Yotsuki. The clan took loyalty and obedience deathly seriously, so when his father cheated on his mother he was thrown out and barred from ever stepping foot within the compound on threat of death. He was 5, and it confused and upset him for a long time. When he was 12, his mother was killed in action, and thus he was raised by his grandparents from then on.
