ABOUT THE CHARACTER
↳ “War does not measure the strength of a man.”
General of the Stripe's Eastern territories, Hawk is cold, bitter, and argumentative. He is excellent at balancing responsibilities, and is well-known in mutant communities for his diligence and dedication to the horrors of war. Not afraid to get his hands dirty or to risk his life, he can frequently be found alongside his soldiers on the battlefeild, which has earned him respect from both soldiers and civilians alike.
Despite this, he struggles to socialize, and will do anything to be alone as he feels rejected by the public as a whole. The few friends he has rarely see him, and when they do it's almost always for strictly work-related reasons. Don't be intimidated, though, he'd love to show you his extensive collection of skeletons.
TLDR; A man who has to make hard decisions.

NECROMANCY
( ) where the line between savior and usurper blurs
In the shadowy realm of forbidden arts, necromancy stands as a whispered secret, a dance with the macabre that transcends the boundary between life and death. Few can attempt it, and those who dare mastery remain quiet about their knowledge. As an immortal, Hawk has lived long enough to rival the ancients and earned himself the title of his realm's death titan. No resurrection is beyond him if he commits to trying, but with age came wisdom, and it's a skill seldom used from all the horrors it can bring despite the miracles.
COOKING
( ) the aromatic embrace of a bustling kitchen
Growing up in a cult left a young Hawk without much food or choice in what they ate. Most nights, they ate salty broth, dried meat, and hard bread, and it stayed that way for seventeen years until he finally left. On the outside, he discovered the world of food hidden from him, and has spent every day since trying to add recipes to his many scrawled cookbooks. With all the time in the world, he's certainly earned his spot as a fantastic chef.
DIPLOMACY
( ) communication and conflict resolution
Despite his high rank, diplomatic aspects of the job are largely handed off to Finch by all the Generals, but especially Hawk. By nature, he's a bully and a brute. Leaving him alone with ambassadors, diplomats, and even fellow soldiers who might just get on his nerves can be considered a death sentence for the other party. Let him keep to himself, or unleash him on undesireables with negotiation skills that consist of his fists and any nearby chairs that can be hurled in your direction.
After leaving Sarah's side, Tama sought refuge in the House of Death with Hawk, offering his services as a fellow immortal but one native to another realm. Tama's fresh perspectives and conniving nature allow Hawk to negotiate and lead with an upper hand, and he's considered an invaluable resource if not an irreplacable friend.
TLDR; The king and his consort.
Their relationship is one forged of necessity with Finch only reestablishing contact once entering the same feild later in adulthood. Hawk's bitter nature and lack of transparency keep Finch at arm's length, too suspicious to place any deeper trust in the old man. Nevertheless, every few months they meet for coffee and catch up on life, making sure to not let the conversation get too deep on either side.
TLDR; Strained, but polite.
Hawk knows the terrible things Anthony's hands are capable of, knows this man doesn't flinch at torture, and knows he has no loyalty to any flag or country. He knows Anthony is hardly a man at all, and keeps just enough distance between them to not raise suspicion and also keep an eye on Anthony's children. While he suspects family is the one ideal Anthony sticks to, he isn't entirely sure how closely that sole moral is held and is prepared to help any children get away if need be.
TLDR; Hawk often wonders if he's raised a serial killer.
Even the cruelest men can find something to treasure, and Hawk grew to love Sarah like the sun.
TLDR; Kissay Kissay :3
