Antonio

Antonio was born to a single mother at the start of the cowboy era. Not knowing who his father was, and his mother refusing to tell him who he was, he grew up bullied by the other kids. This made him a tough outcast, only going into town for supplies and feed for his horse. For years, he did this, asking his mother about his father every day, until one night, his mother relented on her deathbed, dying from tuberculosis. She told him that the reason why he never had a father was because his father had no idea that he existed. His father was the leader of a werewolf pack that feasted on local cattle, and caused chaos to the local townspeople. Handing him her red scarf, she made him promise to not be like him, to not harm others without good reason. Agreeing, Antonio watched as his mother passed away moments later.

After burying his mother, Antonio proceeded to stalk the local areas of the werewolf pack, following them from place to place around town. For a while, he kept doing this, until one night, on a full moon, Antonio was caught by the wolves in a cave, and trapped there. The werewolves kept him hostage, until an older grey wolf came to him, and made him an offer. It was his father. He offered him the chance to be part of the pack, and cause chaos to the local townspeople, where he could be part of a family. Antonio was tempted, but remembering his promise, he declined the offer, and his father, angry with his answer, bit and scratched him, causing Antonio to turn into a werewolf himself. While in his wolf form, the two fought, until Antonio finally won, after impaling his father against a cave stalagmite. The rest of the werewolves nearby were too afraid of the one who just killed their leader, leaving him alone in the cave. He hesitantly buried his father, and still in his wolf form, headed towards town for help.

However, the townspeople didn't recognize Antonio, and they chased him away, into the local canyons, never to be seen again. He became a legend over time, with his name being forgotten. Using this to his advantage, Antonio used his status to strike up a deal with some witches who had promised him supplies, if he kept their cattle safe from other were-people. For a few good decades, this deal kept going; he'd fight off other werewolves and was given supplies in return. The witches had promised him help if he ever needed it. Then one night, an entire pack came in, rampaging through the cattle. Fighting for his life, Antonio fought tooth and nail, but was beaten. He called for the help of the witches, but nobody came. It was just him, and him alone. Right when the leader of the pack was going to shoot him with his own rifle and end the conflict, an oddly-dressed man with even odder hair came in, and slaughtered every single werewolf, saving him. Or so he thought.

As Antonio laid there on the ground, his eyes laid upon this man, with a sword pointed at his throat. The man asked if he was the black-eyed werewolf of the canyons. Nodding his head, the man offered him a hand, and pulled him up and off of the dirt. Introducing himself as Rikou, the man asked on information on the witches, which Antonio was happy to provide, as the contract between the witches and him was broken, since nobody ever came to help him, and all of the cattle were dead.

Antonio had told Rikou the whereabouts of the local witch coven, and had offered to lead him there, since it was two days away on foot. Rikou agreed, and after getting patched up, the two started their travels, and had told each other of their own pasts. He couldn't believe it, but he had found a friend in Rikou, and Rikou had found the same in Antonio. Rikou had told him of the reason why he was there in the first place: to find his missing son. When they had arrived to the local coven, the two of them caused absolute chaos, eliminating every witch there. But unfortunately, Rikou couldn't find the son he was looking for, and was only given a lead to another place on where he could be.

Frustrated, Rikou and Antonio had decided to camp out there for the night, and they had talked more about how Antonio's current situation came to be. Seeing the potential in Antonio, Rikou offered him a spot in his night parade, where he could actually have a family again. Antonio agreed, and he headed back with Rikou to his home to become part of the night parade. Eventually, when the parade moved from the United States to Japan, Antonio followed, and now he resides at the Nura mansion with the rest of the night parade.
