Derek

Derek is Blaine's older brother (by 4 years).

He left Australia when he was 19 to pursue a career offered to him in the states as a stunt performer.
Scarlette and him were dating beforehand for a few years, but decided the long distance would not work for them so they broke it off. 

Upon coming back to Australia for a visit, he makes a critical decision to quit his job and remain in the country.
