Profile

Born the first and final child of late donkey farmers in Urai, Ambrose grew up isolated, a victim of mental disturbance from birth. Raised as mentally disabled and physically useful, he lived with and maintained a complicated relationship with his parents, living in the mundane grip of rurality until his 120s. Eventually, though, the temptations of the ancient and eldritch being Yigtha drew him from the cocoon of his youth.

Yigtha bestowed upon him new and eternal life, injecting part of herself into his body and shifting the very essence of his being. His body and Yigtha's are distinguishable only by physical distance; he harbors her power within his elven form, possessed of magical and psionic abilities that draw from her directly. He is her chosen, but what this could possibly portend is as unknowable as Yigtha herself.

After a variety of adventures and a stint in a guild of warlocks, Ambrose retreated to a cave a few miles' hike from his childhood home, returning to his precious solitude for years until hearing tell of Tyr's Primarch, Alexios Seljeva, putting out a call for warlocks.

Personality

Lofty, but incredibly moody. Quick to take offense. Tries hard to control his image in the eyes of other people. Has significant issues with shame. Views life very much as a worth hierarchy system, where very few people have any fundamental worth, and he (and his partner, Alexios) occupies the highest echelon. Sees the vast majority of people as beneath him.

Likes: Being in charge, being left to his own devices, being left alone, being viewed as superior, compliments, cooking, animals (especially donkeys and mules), organizing (his space, his possessions, his work, anything)

Dislikes: Interruptions, mixed signals, limitations to his work, incompetency, Crania Umbra

Appearance

Standing seven feet tall and sporting an obtusely shaped helmet at all times, Ambrose makes for an imposing figure, having towered over his own parents by nearly two feet. Beneath his many layers of embroidered black and gray robes, Ambrose has mauve skin of a bruised pallor, appearing bluer or redder in some translucent places. His ash blond hair is long, straight, and silky, usually kept around hip-length. He cares for his hair almost compulsively, dedicating plenty of his spare time to brushing, braiding, and maintaining it. His eyes look like they're filled with sour milk.
