Once terrified and neurotic when it came to other babs, owing to traumatic treatment as a 'bad omen' when young, he has now mostly grown indifferent and tired, resigned to the reactions he usually draws and has just gotten rather good at getting away from whatever abuse others might hurl at him. Has grown up to be fiercely independent as a result, keeping to himself so as not to be a burden on anyone, especially his sister. He's not grown entirely immune to the taunts of other babs, but has a rather detached personality as a result, and is slow to trust. Babs aside, he's generally quite fearless in other aspects and has quite the sense of wanderlust. Underneath it all, he's quiet, shy but reliable, and intensely loyal once you've earned his friendship.

As a mantibab with cursed colouration, he was subject to much hate and fear since childhood. Only owing to his sister's status as blessed bab did he survive, but her protection couldn't be constant and he was left blinded in his left eye after a particularly vicious attack when she wasn't around. Wears a blue flower as an eyepatch to cover it.
