Profile
Amaraki Hyde is a med student researching and teaching in the Chicago area in the early 1900s. He has long powder blue hair that goes down to his shoulders, but he typically keeps it up in a pony tail. He wears large brown glasses that seem antiquated but match his unique charm.
He has a younger sister whom he loves dearly, and frequently visits bearing gifts or stories. She is particularly fond of stories from Wonderland, as she is very ill and dreams of one day being able to escape and pursue her own adventures. Because of this, Hyde often pins rabbit ear clips to his hair when he visits, posing as the march hare.
Hyde's biggest motivation in life is finding a cure for the mysterious illness that prevents his sister from living a full life. To this ends he dedicates himself fully to his studies and research, often disregarding his own safety in an effort to speed up his progress.
It was this earnest passion that led to the accident that split him in two. Desperate to test the effects of a new medicine that might save his sister, Amaraki found himself posing as a guinea pig. Unfortunately, the side effects were worse than he ever could have imagined. Now burdened with living a double life with a wilder and far more dangerous version of himself, Amaraki sometimes wishes he'd simply poisoned himself. However, he refuses to let go until he can cure his sister, at which point he intends to take himself out and drag the monster inside with him.
Amaraki's alter ego is a notorious serial killer known only as Mr.H. Hedonistic, unhinged, and obsessive, he takes all of Amaraki's best qualities and perverts them. The two share only fragments of memory, but the monster will never harm the two people he most treasures.
