Virva

Virva (meaning will'o the wisp in Finnish) is a small, mysterios but kind creature who protects the forest and help those who are lost. Her blue flames she can emit and control are niether hor nor cold to the touch. They have a soft, comforting and calming feeling if interacted with physically but can still be used as regular fire if she so wishes. Her form changes depending on season, she has her magpie form during winter, crow during autumn, raven in spring and her regular during summertime.

She dislikes physical touch such as hugs but she loves the spiritual/mental bonding part of social interaction, she can sense others emotions/aura by touching them and so she easily get's overwhelmed if she comes in direct, physical contact.

Little is known about this creature and her origin, it is said she was born out of the last flickering hope of a wandering traveller's lantern. Her duty as forest warden involves leading lost travellers out of the forest, scaring away threats and taking care of the forest and fauna. The residents of the forest adores and respects Virva's kindhearted nature and often seeks out her aid in times of need.

But they also fear her; noone knows what's hiding beneath the mask and her blue, dancing, ghostly flames are only a fragment of what true power she holds. She is always calm and collected; it takes a lot to even make her slightly annoyed. Because she is easily stressed she has learned to cope and be calm in tough siuations. The truth is though: she is terrified of ever letting go of her composure in fear of harming anyone around her.
