Zem

Zem is a young harpy who is curious and always looking for new tools and  things to explore. They often have trouble communicating with others as they are mostly non-verbal. Living under the care of their older sister, Zem is ostracized by those their age and overlooked by adults; thus spending majority of their time alone to their own devices. His sister tries her best to be their for him, but her duties usually take her away from spending time with her younger sibling. Zem and the harpies lived in a secluded-like community that is currently under control by a harsh class system and police state, it was once a flourishing home filled with aspiring innovators, explorers, and artists, but all of that was cast away for the latter instead. Zem often sneaks out to investigate the ruins of what once was, finding solice in playing by himself and learning about how important the arts and science used to be. Leading them to grab ahold of a device once used to help communicate with the other civilizations, such as the city on the moon. With it he is able to speak to a another being named Eila, a centaur from the city on the moon who is also living in a struggling environment. They now aspire that maybe, if they can reconstruct the broken machinery that helped connect the remaining cities together, then they help bring in a new world and save their family.
