Essie Finch is an extremely chipper barista at Dark Matter. She has a lot of issues with people assuming she's flirting with them, but she is really just trying to be friendly. She's a wanderer, but very human passing, born of an older woman who believed that the flock of goldfinches she was feeding were the spirits of her friends who had passed before she did.
