Gin is a severely devious son of a b*tch. I make no bones about it: he's is what you would describe as a horrible human being. He is one of the politicians that intend to rule the world. He has bonded many people but none of them have stuck around willingly until Flet. Most have died protecting him or by disobeying him - one such will be introduced later. He intends to create a court of people bonded to solely him so he may have unlimited power. In fact, he already has his eyes set on Acme. Be that as it may, he does have some sweet points about him. He is actually quite fond of Flet and enjoys being around naive youngsters like Acme not only for the reason of beguiling them. He's a curious man [taking it to the full extent of both meanings of the word] and enjoys misconstruing the minds of young adults (particularly women) who think they know better. His original name was Edric Maynard, a member of a powerful ruling family of the east.
