Billy

Billy was once a powerful but friendly dragon who resigned peacefully in a cave close to a growing village. Of course humans had to disturb Billy when he was just minding his own business. A knight was send to slay Billy, who barely got out alive and lost his wings in the fight. Clinging onto his hurt body and soul Billy quickly moved far away to a secluded area to hopefully recover. 

Centuries later now in modern times, humans, hybrids and anthros alike live together in a flourishing society, including Billy. He's still hurt from what humans did to him years ago but he's not vengeful. Billy is still very friendly but a bit shy and cautious towards others. When asked about his species he'll just say he's a very rare type of horn lizard. If he tells others he's a wingless dragon, Billy worries it'll either frighten them or make fun of him.
