Eisalin was once the knight of the ancient kingdom of Apodius. After a war with a race of seemingly unstoppable demons, Apodius was in ruins. In an attempt to defend the Queen, Eisalin was forced into fighting the demon's main unit.
Fighting multiple powerful demons, Eisalin managed to slay over a dozen on her own but eventually succumbed to their forces. Despite the demon's conquest, they had respect for Eisalin as a warrior and buried her in the royal mausoleum, where she lay for over a millennia, mostly preserved by special magicks.
By chance, a powerful abyssal wizard was about to meet his own fate there, and in a last-ditch effort attempted to take over Eisalin's largely protected body. Fortunately for Eisalin, the preservation magick contained her mind, and she could not be entirely overtaken, but the wizard sparked life into her otherwise lifeless body.
Now she has to search for meaning, realizing that everything she once knew is gone, as she combines her past warrior prowess with the magic granted by her magical inhabitant.
