An agent of the Vatican, Vontell deals with death (not causing it, generally, but cleaning up after it - who else is going to go retrieve that demon body, hide its existence from the public, and then give it the appropriate last rites to make sure it doesn't come back?) Vontell's fascination with death makes them perfect for the job, and he's collected a lot of knowledge about specific death rites.

Campaign Concept & Background
Loosely based on the Van Helsing (2004) movie, and similar properties -- the campaign is codenamed "Steampunk Dracula" and is set in the late 19th century. Our characters are agents of the Vatican, sent out across Europe (and sometimes further afield) to deal with unnatural events and creatures, averting disaster in numerous ways, and cleaning up in the aftermath.
S1 started with three agents (Amiriel Ianetta, Reid Donwell, and Sylvester Rosensweig) sent to eastern Romania to kill the Count of Transylvania. Information about the Count was discovered by another agent—simply known as Fern—who had disappeared after sending her last message, weeks prior. Upon arriving in Romania, they linked up with Fern, who had been killed by the Count, but mysteriously returned to life with one goal: kill Dracula. The group was ultimately successful in their task, but upon Dracula's true demise, Fern also fell, having accomplished the goal that tied her to life.
(And since Fern was my character, S2 required a new character: Vontell Lothair)
S2: Murders of London
Vatican agents Amiriel Ianetta, Reid Donwell, and Vontell Lothair are sent to London to assist another agent with a series of grisly murders that have been occuring around London. Last correspondence with the agent spoke of a supernatural influence he was investigating. However, upon arrival, the agent has gone missing and cannot tell them more. While trying to learn what happened to the agent and what he had learned about the murders, they meet Virgil Durand: the only person to have survived a run-in with illusive murderer stalking London streets... but Virgil has also been mysteriously afflicted with amnesia. As they dig into his history, they discover how his story is interwoven with the events plaguing London.
