Profile

Dom is best known as the vocalist for the punk band "Johnny the Tosser".

His stage presence is very aggressive, he thrashes his entire body and his vocals are harsh and is known for writhing on the floor of the stage. He usually leaves the stage with a few new bruises or cuts and scrapes, and has been known to leave the performance bloody and unaware hes bleeding. He seems to bare everything in his performances, the lyrics he writes have themes of heavy emotion and hard existentialism. His audience likes to mess with him while hes up there and yank on his microphone cord or put out lit cigarettes on his legs.

He doesn't seem to mind most of the time.

Most view Dom immediately as very aggressive and dull, and many tend to underestimate him in emotional and general intelligence. Dom is actually very intelligent and likes to challenge himself to think further. He writes poems in his spare time, and will not shy away from deeper discussions. He roots a lot of his lifestyle in counter-culture ideas, like his aversion to traditional dating/courting, and nuclear family values. He makes a home in the underground punk scene to explore these ideas more fully. He uses his seemingly endless anger to better himself and create environments that are hostile to bigotry.

Dom is polite. He's most likely to greet people with direct eye contact and a handshake in a pseudo military-esque fashion. He is good at small talk and a decent talker in a lot of situations, but not all. He can shut himself off almost randomly, frequently taking time away from crowded social situations to re-center himself, but you might not be able to pick up on when he's starting to shut off. He can come across as emotionally closed, but in reality he is a sensitive, passionate, and sentimental person, it just takes a little bit for him to re-calibrate so he can access that side of himself. Dom struggles with some mood regulation issues so his moods can get very intense or flip randomly. He tends to live inside his own head too much.

He freaks out when you ask him to think about romantic things. Its something he wants, but not something he thinks he can handle.

Underneath the first impressions, the shifting moods and angry outward appearance, Dom is a sweetheart and a goof. He likes to laugh and is most comfortable around his goofy friends just fuckin off and skateboarding. They all have like 3 dollars between them and in that they are brothers. Dom lives with his best friend Len and has lived with her for like several years as they are inseparable.

Him and his friends can be found trespassing, shoplifting, dumpster diving, loitering, skateboarding, drinking and playing loud shows all night till they gotta wake up and do the 9-5 the next morning.

Brief History

Born around Cork, Ireland to two comfortably middle class parents who didn't actually care that much about each other. Dom had problems regulating his mood from a young age, which turned out to be very frustrating for his impatient family who didn't know how to deal with him. They instilled a bunch of rules and regulations in him hoping to stem his tumultuous moods. His tantrums would have him thrashing and slamming his head into walls.

His brains have always stayed with him. If there was a rule he thought was pointless, he'd let you know his thoughts right away. This unfortunately lined him up for a school life in military school, where he was punished extensively for any of his smart ass quirks. This stayed with him for life, he gets testy and flighty when people get too close to his face. He's iffy about people messing with his head in general.

Dom's family moved to California when he was a pre-teen. He picked up on the local southern California culture relatively quickly, his voice matching the candor of the locals so much so that his irish accent only comes across occasionally.

He has a baby sister who he worries about ending up being a spoiled brat. Dom gets no support from his family and has to forge his own way since he didn't pursue college or military or married life like they wanted for him.
