Aldrestrasza, the Hopebringer

Aldrestrasza is from the brood of Alexstrasza and Tyrannistrasz. She was born as Aldrestrasz in what was becoming the Red Dragonshrine just years after the Sundering. As a whelp, Aldrestrasz felt burdened by the future the dragonspawn told him about. It was years later that he learned to grow life and heal that Aldrestrasz felt overwhelmed by his future, to live in service of his mother and his flight. Forever. The young drake flew as far down as his wings could take him. He arrived to what remained of the Broken Isles, floating to the west. Settling within the recovering Val'sharah. There, he found a new life. He took on the name Ald'doras, a free spirited treasure hunter. Here, Aldrestrasz would happen upon a weapon that would accompany him forevermore. Hidden away beneath a deep tomb, a simple rod with great titanic power was found. Since he was a being of the titans, himself, he could not only feel this power, but felt it. The rod was inscribed with what he would eventually have translated to The Byridion. He felt that he could control the power inside the rod. Upon opening it, cracking energy oozed out, almost like a liquid. Eventually, the drake learned to at least keep it within the rod. With a smith's help, the weapon would be remade into something with potential. A dragon's head was placed on top with vents for the energy. The more he practiced using this rod, the more he found a use for it. The rod's energy kept a subsolid state, and would be used as a powerful mace, that crackling energy being the head. Eventually, Aldrestrasz settled down with a fierce Kaldorei warrior named Ryanae Blackstar. Like Ald, she was born male, but viciously fought to be like the Sentinels. Although she never truly became one, Ald gave her comfort in being simply who she was, not what she believed she had to be. She was a capable warrior and a trusted friend. The two learned to be happy with the life they had. It wasn't until the time of the War of the Shifting Sands that Ald's partner grew ill. Over the years they spent together, she was ready for death and refused Ald's offer to keep her alive. This was the first time Aldrestrasz would have to let go of what he loved for the respect of the cycle.

Aldrestrasz soon moved to Zandalar, deciding it was time to find a new life. There, he went by Aldrakkoh, a new change of pace, taking a role of a Bwonsamdi worshipper. After all, part of life was the end. To properly usher the dead to their place in the afterlife. While he was a 'worshipper', Ald held more of a respect for the Loa than worship. He often worked to destroy defilers of the cycle and ensure the dying were on their way to their proper place. It was within Zuldazar's jungles that Ald met a man named Be'runja. He was on his way to a choir practice, for the voices of Pa'ku sang their praise like none other. Ald and Be' eventually fell in love, discussing plans to leave Daraz'Alor.
