Personality

Yuri is a neurotic, hard-working young man. Working towards being a doctor, Yuri is dedicated to his studies.

Yuri suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which he takes medication for. He tends to be pessimistic and indecisive and is easily flustered under pressure.

Yuri is no pushover though; he knows how to stand his ground. He can be pretty stubborn, however.

Yuri can be snarky and sarcastic.

Yuri loves affection and cuddling.

History

Yuri was born to a Greek-American mother, alongside his younger twin sister, Athena. Yuri's dad was absent from his life for several years. Yuri's parents fell out when he was a toddler, due to his father's substance abuse and toxic behavior. Yuri was a shy boy, while Athena was more rambunctious and out-going.

Yuri remembers his childhood fondly, but can't say the same for middle school. When puberty hit, his life went downhill. Yuri developed small breasts, his hips grew wider, and he couldn't grow facial hair. He was diagnosed with Klinefelter's Syndrome, as such, he had been born with an extra X chromosome, instead of the standard XY chromosome.  Yuri got picked on for his chest among other things, and faced harassment from the other boys.

When he was in high school, Yuri formed a relationship with a the closet gay jock. Said jock often made Yuri dress femininely, including around people outside of school and called him his "girlfriend". Even when Yuri protested, the dude gave him the whole "if you really love me, you'll do this" spiel. And guilt tripped him about how he'd protect him from bullies. Yuri felt like he couldn't say "no" and like he was obligated to do as he says. 

Yuri came out to his sister when the doubts about his relationship became too much. Athena had her haunches, and encouraged Yuri to break it off with the guy. When he did, the jock outed him, and claimed that Yuri harassed him and forced him into things. When Athena caught wind of this, she straight up outed the jock and called him out for treating her brother like crap.

After high school, Yuri attended Gale University, and studied in the medical department. And he eventually got top surgery. Early on, Yuri drowned himself in his studies; working himself to the point of exhaustion.

Yuri frequented a cafe near campus, where he met Skylar. After a few months of chatting each other up over coffee, Skylar asked him out. There was a catch though, Skylar was polyamorous and had another boyfriend. Yuri was uncertain at first; knowing next to nothing about polyamory. But hey, the cute barista he liked asked him out so he gave it a shot!!! In the beginning, Yuri was only dating Skylar, but he wound up bonding with Sky's other partner, Freddy, and the three became a triad.

Yuri currently shares a house with the other two, managing both college and a part time job.
