About
Jack of All Trades. Kai is an unique boy that stands out among everyone. He works as a troubleshooter, dealing with all kinds of requests. Despite being broke, he doesn't accept payments from those that are really in need. This is tiring... he says as he takes up his next job.
He tends to hangout around with Okimitsu and Shizuka since they live together above Hyoko's bar. He either goes around the city for his work or gets dragged around a lot by different kinds of people. His job also leads him to having a large network with many people.
Personality
Moody most of the time, his feelings shows out easily especially when he's very irritated, and at some moments he would act like a bastard. Sly and calculating, he would think of the easiest solution whenever he does anything so he could finish it as soon as possible. Kind hearted, despite looking like a delinquent, he tends to have a hard time rejecting help when people needed it.
Design notes
His pupils are sharp and has a bit of red eyeshadow that can be seen along the side of his eyes. He also has sharp fangs and black nails. His hair is quite fluffy with most of the bangs covering his left eye.

Backstory
Kai was born in a village of never-ending snow. He lives with his single mother until she got remarried and had to move away to the city together with her.
As Kai reached his 11th birthday, he was captured by men who does human trafficking. He lost his memories due to mental shock from being kidnapped and by the time he snapped out of it, he was standing in a pool of blood of the men that kidnapped him. He was then picked up by a certain yakuza group, and was forced to trained into an assassin. Due to his memory loss, his optimistic personality was gone and grew timid, then became emotionless. He was taught to kill by a certain mercenary, Keisuke.
After a few years, he was brought together with the boss to meet Akari as the boss' bodyguard. There he met Sachi, even though Kai doesn't seem to know nor remember him, the man desperately tried to convince his boss to leave Kai in his hands. It was all too much for Kai to take in, but slowly he's able to open up to Sachi as he wasn't treated roughly by him. Though happiness doesn't last forever when Kai found out about Sachi was using kidnapped children as experimental subjects. Fueled by anger and betrayal, he decided to run away.
With the help of Keisuke, who grew affectionate towards Kai, and one of the experimental kids, Okimitsu, he managed to escape the place. Keisuke then took care of Kai and Oki until he left them with Hyoko, a bar owner. Needed to earn money for themselves, they decided to open up their own shop above Hyoko's bar, which is their current troubleshooter job.
Trivia
- His hair was dyed red since he didn't want Okimitsu to feel out of place due to his different hair color and demon-like horns. He also painted his nails black to match with Oki.
- Kai's weird memory loss makes him have nightmares, whether or not that it's flashbacks of his past or realistic dreams.
- Even though he tends to exclaim that he dislikes animals and kids, he treats both beings very well. Animals likes to be around him and he's very nice to people who are younger than him.
- He will get too excited if he sees too much blood/engage in too much violent activities.
