Lore: Arealia is a saltwater class forced into legendary status. Curium deposits grow on and inside her body like salt deposits do on saltwaters and they used to be harvested to be used as a power source for weapons of war.
In order to escape her eternal life of imprisonment and subjugation she made a deal with one of her captors employees. He was a kind young man that frequently spoke to her while doing maintenance in her tank, they both bonded over their mutual feeling of helplessness.
Knowing that he was the only person she'd ever trusted Arealia made a choice- She exhausted all of her power to give him a superpower like no one has seen in that world and in return he set her free into the vast ocean. These days Arealia swims free in the deep dark waters, but in order to exhaust her overflowing energy and avoid being rediscovered, she finds chosen people and passes her energy onto them before retreating into the deep.
People who get her power gain supernatural abilities and become immortal, but they all later discover that people around them get sick and die early due to prolonged radiation sickness.
