Amon

Devoted | Brave | Sharp | Quick-tempered | Introspective

Amon is incredibly quiet as a pup, stemming from his embarrassment of his stutter and raspy voice, but that doesn't stop him from basking in the joy of being surrounded by all his many siblings, part-siblings, adopted-siblings and the entire extended family of Vektren. Above all, he is devoted to his family and his pack, and would do anything for them. He takes great pride in Vektren and his place within it, and will happily spend hours in the company of any Necrolyte who will indulge him with stories of Senisteros and Xibalten, or the great trials and victories Vektren experienced before his birth.

He possesses a sharp mind and a skill for critical thinking, expressed as seemingly endless questions when he is young and evolving into an invaluable perspective on things as he grows. His propensity for thinking makes him incredibly introspective, easily accepting the reality of life and death and the place Vektren and its members have in the cycle of things, knowing that all those who have fallen before him now serve in the eternal war, and some day so shall he, he lacks the usual fear of death - although he does not invite it or tempt fate needlessly, he simply believes that the life and death of everyone and everything is nothing more than the turning of the wheel and that fussing over it is pointless.
He greatly enjoys the stories of everything that happened in Vektren leading up to the Koor'Kipraan celebration that resulted in his and his sibling's births, fully aware and at peace with the fact that the vektreni that died before they were born were the cause of the drive to create new vektreni. They HAD to die so they could be born, and they HAD to be born because they died.
All things in balance.

Despite his nature seeming to be quite relaxed and down to earth, Amon can be very quick-tempered and is prone to aggressive outbursts of frustration. While he would never injure one of his packmates, he will growl and storm off, and later in life when he is more comfortable using his voice often shout to vent his anger. His temper is directed internally more than anything, but he's never quite been able to reconcile his pent up emotions from years of being silent and can't seem to get a lid on his outbursts.
Even with his temper, he's a great asset to his packmates when he's grown due to his brave nature and lack of fear when it comes to facing adversity, even if it seems near impossible to surmount Amon will not back down or give in, and he'll be first in line to come to the defense of his fellow Vektreni.
