{BACKSTORY}
A wild animal born of the vast blinding snowfields, where the very land obscured the defining lines of her existence. The winters she endured constantly pushed down upon her spirit, keeping her from moving in new directions, but finally one day the warmth of passion that lie within her chest grew into a brilliant flame, letting her push past the old barriers to seek new horizons and write down her own story upon the blank page of her life.
To leave what one knows can be a process of painful transformation, and on her path of strife she came to know one more color in her life, a burning Scarlet, dripping from the wound and scattered upon the white. This moment would be formative for her as she came to realize the cost of large-scale change, and moreso, that to have borne it was to be true to herself, never again to live a life of passivity.
In remembrance of the scars and pain of her past, she would take up the artist's brush and paint on her body strokes of blood-red, the passion that had driven her life now being told in a story upon her white fur, earning her the sobriquet of "The Painted Fox". It was in this sacred act that she created a magical pact with her own self, the strength of her own imaginative spirit and will to keep moving ever-forward serving as the catalyst forces in a process whereby the end she would not be a creature made solely of flesh, but also of paint and magic, giving her the ability to transform into any form she desires, each new body a canvas to be painted and filled out by her own hand.
Soon, the yearning for change in her heart made her seek out the company of the wider world where she could study and learn more of the magical arts, the discipline of fire-magic calling out to her in particular. Her abilities were seen as unusual and she was derided by other practiced magic-users as being an untrained "creature of the wild", separated and singled out from the rest of society. This social barrier she had with others did nothing to close her open-heart or otherwise push down the determination she had towards her goals though.
Driven by her own creative imagination, she had a grand design in mind that she would not seek to be just be a simple student of magic, but rather the most spectacular magician in the world, performing on as many stages as there were stars in the sky. Forming the foundation of this lofty goal was the idea that one day, through constant practice and experimentation of ideas, she might create "The Perfect Act", a show so magnificent that it would serve as a catalyst of inspiration, lighting the spark in other people's lives so that it might burst into a great flame of passion, that same fire that had first set her on her own path towards discovering herself.
