Princess of the sky.
Princess Ofelia is from a kingdom of wind elves suspended in the sky, closer to the east. Her people have lived there for generations, forgetting the use of magic because of the high regulations and instead choosing the path of science. She is an inventor, and a proud one at that. Her people have thrived, secluded in their kingdom and wary of outsiders. She loves the idea of sharing her creations though, but she's close-minded and scared of magic and other things she was taught to fear (like dragon-shifters). Her mother is queen, and is strict about visitors, much to Ofelia's frustration. Aerandir and Farraige meet her later on in their story, and it is still being developed.
Notes
- She has a dragon companion, though it is a true feral dragon and not sentient like Farraige.
- Aerandir's affinity toward magic is one that confuses her, especially since he too is so scienfically-bright and has a knack for invention of his own
- She specializes in transportation machines, be it for large-scale movement or accessibility for folks. She also likes making lights, though that's mostly for fun
- Her kingdom is, aesthetically, a mix of mexican culture and steampunk vibes- and so is she.
- Like all wind elves, she sports feathered ears, large eyes, and feathered wings (still growing)
- She develops a large fondness and crush for Aerandir, which is unrequited
